During
the evening there will be a lot to educate and entertain you.
The
Deacon will place mementoes of his year in office in the Craft's handsome elm
Box. In addition, Cordiners sponsored prizes
will be awarded to our student and apprentice prizewinners.
There
will be a presentation from Glasgow City Mission, who have been a long standing
beneficiary of donations from the Incorporation, on the magnificent work that
they do in the city, as well as representatives from two of Glasgow’ schools who
will talk about the benefits that have accrued for their children as a result
of the funding that they have received from the Craft over the last year as
part of the Craft’s Body & Sole initiative.
The
evening will include a buffet supper, accompanied by wine or soft drinks, as
well as musical entertainment.
For new
members who haven’t yet received their Membership Certificates, this would be
an ideal opportunity.
