Heraldic Events for Cordiners!
We have two heraldic events for Cordiners coming up - do support them if you can.
Thursday 3rd March, City Chambers:
ExDeacon Liam Devlin, Rothesay Herald, will give the first talk in a nationwide series to celebrate the 350th Anniversary of the Public Register of Arms, followed by a Civic reception. It is not a technical talk - just a few good stories! Tickets are free - do come.
Wednesday 31st August, Trades Hall:
The second heraldic event, in the same 350th anniversary series, will take place on Wednesday 31st August in the Trades Hall. It will begin with a talk by ExDeacon Professor Beverly Bergman OBE and will be followed by a drinks reception and then, for those who buy tickets, a formal heraldic dinner in the saloon, chaired by our Deacon, Brian McAlinden CBE, at which the guest speaker will be the Lord Lyon. Booking details for the Talk & Reception, and the Heraldic Dinner will follow in due course but do make a note of the event in your diaries.
